About

Celeste Evans is the owner and founder of Moonriver Interiors (formerly Moonriver Antiques), a home décor shop in Narrowsburg, NY dedicated to design-driven living. After moving to Narrowsburg in 2018, she opened Moonriver Inn and later launched Moonriver Interiors in 2024—both shaped by her background in city planning and her belief that the environments we create, inside and out, profoundly influence how we feel and live.

Moonriver Interiors blends modern, vintage, and antique pieces with an emphasis oncraftsmanship, longevity, and the emotional warmth of a well-designed space. Celeste champions the value of small businesses as cornerstones of community life, and the shop was a natural evolution from Moonriver Inn. The Inn was decorated with a mix of new, vintage, and antique pieces, and creating inviting interiors was key to guests’ comfort—ultimately inspiring her to open a shop that brings this philosophy to a wider audience.

She is especially proud of the recent collaborationwith filmmaker Tina Spangler on The Art of Fanny Palmer exhibit—supporting the upcoming documentary and making Palmer’s and Currier & Ives–related artworks accessible to the public through curated pieces available in the shop.
